OMP HOBBY M5 is a high performance 550 class helicopter designed to – with the appropriate motor and electronics – meet the requirements of flyers just starting with large choppers, sport pilots, scale enthusiasts as well as 3D champions. Many aspects of the M5 were engineered to minimize rotational moments of inertia in all the three axes. Together with the innovative long-throw design of the main and tail rotor heads it provides tremendous control authority and manoeuvrability. Many of the solutions proven on the older and bigger brother M7 were used.
The M5 can adopt awide range of brushless motors and electronics; therefore – either straight from the box or with optional parts added – it will meet requirements of seasoned 3D pilots and is ready to work with their favourite and well tested equipment.
